My wife and I have declared WAR on mice when we discovered "evidence" of their presence at the foot of our bed and even more "evidence" in our pantry last week. We bought several packages of the old fashioned VICTOR wooden traps. So far we have trapped 7 mice this week alone. The strobes main benefit is said to be that it will disorient those that you use it on and thus give you time to get out of the line of attack, or defend yourself.

I like the use of the strobe as a signaling device myself. In a survival situation it would come in handy.

It is just a nice feature but one that is not neccessary.
